Grow.com gave me some of my best memories as well as invaluable experience. Whether you were in CS, Sales, Marketing or Engineering, Grow gave you the ability to learn, have big responsibilities and the ability fail without fear. Rob deserves the credit for creating that type of environment. I can't count the number of people that have been offered great positions outside of Grow due to the experience that was provided to them there. In behalf of all of them, thank you!!
Cons
The product category is complex, super complex. When competing in BI beware that the competitors in the space are doing so with 100's of millions in funding. There is a reason that, that type of funding is required. It is not an easy problem to solve. With the amount of funding Grow has taken they have made great headway in solving reporting. A few key hires were made that were supposed to be big but turned out to be disappointing.
