Going downhill - Anonymous employee Guardant Health Employee Review

The company is very inefficiently run. Communication between teams is confusing and employees often hear about their work from rumors from other people. No clear plans in how to scale besides trying to hire more people. Vision of how to improve is communicated in random meetings with no actual plans. There are some fundamental challenges that the organization is facing and if you’re not technical, you would have a hard time working here because of lack of support and would constantly wonder why you’re here. The open office layout with this many people also makes it hard to focus at work, in many instances I need to work overtime at home unnecessarily.
