Pros

The working-level staff is made up of many good people who will keep you motivated to do good things. This is true in a few pockets of the Company -- less so at the C-suite level. Rewards are high and generous. Guardian has to work double-time to attract talent (many Glassdoor ratings and comments speak for themselves). You will enjoy remote working options.

Cons

A highly consensus-driven environment with many failed attempts to drive down bureaucracy. You, too, will try hard to make a change when you get there. Culture is overly preoccupied with propagating social/political views and celebrating the latest #. You will see an excessive number of company resources used to prop up topics that don't bring in business or policyholders or, worse, serve only to fan egos. Check ELT LinkedIn posts before you take the plunge to ensure your views align with theirs.

Pros

Flexibility, excellent work life balance, casual environment, easy to use PTO. Benefits: health, dental, STD/ACC, vision, 401k are excellent

Cons

Pay is much below the standard for the position, raises and bonuses are minimal and hardly reflect the effort that is required to maintain positive metrics/meet goals. Case managers' responsibility is at a max and we often feel overwhelmed by the workload and expectations of management. Case managers are often responsible for tasks outside of the important things that have an effect of the claim
