Pros
Great coworkers. Most frontline employees are great to work with.
Cons
Recent forced return to office policy has crushed employee morale. After championing flexible remote work for many years, the new crop of leadership mandated an arbitrary RTO policy with zero consideration given to parents of sick high-risk children. Now employees within an hour of offices get to add a commute only to sit on the same Teams video calls in the office. Zero consideration given to individual circumstances beyond hard-to-get ADA exemptions that have to go through the full leave process. Especially cruel to those of us with high-risk ill family. Rumors of long-time employees being fired for not complying with the RTO requirements, even though they never had designated in-office days in the past. Some employees who had been remote for years bought houses farther away from office during the pandemic now have crazy commutes. All that matters is if you live within an hour of a Guardian office - you will be forced in. High performing employees leaving in droves. If you don't want to commute to an office and sit on Teams calls all day, avoid Guardian.
