Pros
Gear discount (pretty much the only reason anyone works there)
Cons
The profit you generate for the company (GP) per paycheck pretty much needs to meet or exceed your hourly base pay (good thing they don't pay well), which leads to not only an extremely competitive sales environment, but awful, pushy salesman. Most gear in there is extremely sub-par and you're expected to look customers in the face and not recommend what may be right for them, but what will generate the most GP. Brutally cutthroat management, ignorant corporate higher-ups who occasionally drop by, fellow employees who, like drug mules, don't *like* being there but have no other choice.
