Pros
If you love music and are a musician yourself, you'll love being surrounded by everything that is music. The employee discounts are great. Weekend hours aren't too bad for a retail schedule.
Cons
Managers are terrible. They are either an arrogant musician first or a driven salesperson. They forget that after they make it into management, they don't have to be competitive anymore. No amount of training prepares them for a management role. Everything is done with negative reinforcement at this company. I'm guessing that's why the turnover rate is so high. It's an average 29 days. There is a huge problem with miscommunication. Also, the pay here was just absolutely ridiculous. Minimum wage with a terrible chance at making any commission with the way they had the percentages set up. It was like they did it on purpose. Oh wait. They did. Corporate greed at it's finest. Yikes!
