Pros

Helping fellow musicians attain their goals. Great experience for first time managers. It has been a fantastic time being a manager for the company and getting to know the local clientele is great and leads to connections further in life. You learn a lot from the veterans of the company and the many vendor trainers that come around often.

Cons

West Lake Village is the command center. It seems that the employee spotlight only focuses on the California stores and not enough recognition is given to the other stores in the lower 48 states. Anniversary gifts are in the form of Awardco, but the items you can order are too expensive for the first tier (5 years) of points. At least you get an enamel pin? Depending on your area, the local population can be really taxing and the staff certainly does not get paid enough to deal with the constant abuse. WLV doesn't seem to understand that all these new systems are unusable for the severely out of date computers. Definitely need a refresh. Pro Coverage seems to be the end-all-be-all since the company over-pays for inventory in the hopes that we make up for it on PC sales.

Pros

Sweet deals and discounts Coworkers are very pleasant to work with Good as extra income Good for aspiring musicians to network with experts of the industry

Cons

Obsolete softwares Scheduling system software that is thenmost imperative tool as of it will be the backbone of a lesson lead for your team of instructors success it's also somewhat obsolete amd constantly crashing both IT and Upper management are aware. IT is very diligent and pleasant to work with but Upper management expects their lessons lead to work and deliver at 100% capacity while they continue to have an operating system that only works at 75% capacity, just beware of that and if you're willing to work under those conditions. With that put there go at your own discretion. Nobody gets Christmas/winter holiday vacation time off, also go at your own discretion on that one especially if you have kids and family looking for work-life-balance.
