Pros

Good pay, lots of OT normally. The work was excellent in my position. There was plenty of work, good flow to the work, and customers were good to work with.

Cons

Management has some severe bad apples. My department was ok, but friends were not so lucky. I have never heard of such horrible people with known issues to hold such high level positions. Mandatory OT was constant and working 10s everyday is kind of hard on the personal life.

Pros

-Work in an air conditioned hangar! -All the tools and support needed to do the job -Excellent training available -Good safety culture -Fairly easy work -Lots of opportunities to grow

Cons

Big corporate politics at times. Some people just love to point fingers. Rules that are very excessive due to incompetence, instead of just firing morons.

Pros

PTO policy is pretty straight forward and a decent amount of time. If you’re right out of high school or your only desire is to turn wrenches you’re entire life, this place is for you. Three day weekends.

Cons

There is no mobility. They can’t find mechanics so if you are one, they will keep you there at all costs. They fully rely on the good old boy system. The people that are in management positions, especially at West Palm, do not care about anything other than staying where they are and using what little power they think they have. Management is very customer focused but forget their employees. Health benefits are seriously lacking.
