Pros

Competitive and affordable health benefits. Plenty of other benefits like cheap prepaid legal, pet, and auto insurance. Starting salary is ok. Usually plenty of overtime.

Cons

Management throws their weight around too much. Contractors are treated very poorly. No work-home balance. Fire & hire a lot of contractors kind of a revolving door. Also get a sense of racism from the amount of Black contractors let go all the time. Rarely see any minorities in leadership positions.

Pros

-Work in an air conditioned hangar! -All the tools and support needed to do the job -Excellent training available -Good safety culture -Fairly easy work -Lots of opportunities to grow

Cons

Big corporate politics at times. Some people just love to point fingers. Rules that are very excessive due to incompetence, instead of just firing morons.

Pros

Gulfstream is a good company, I would come back to it. Can be a fantastic work life balance. PTO and benefits are decent. Can be an excellent career builder if you have connections and play your cards right. They can pay for your masters. Self-starters are rewarded and recognized,

Cons

-Ultimately, your experience heavily depends on your specific group—and some can be incredibly profane and toxic. If you are trying to implement an improvement but it doesn't agree with leadership, you can be harassed. -You might find yourself fourth in a long line for a position that only opens once a year; many jobs already have a person picked before they are ever posted. This isn't new information.
