Pros

Relative good pay while in college. People are really fun to work with for the most part.\ Very flexible schedule making. The discount is okay but best when its increased for certain events.

Cons

Management. Practically useless and will lie to you and have blatant in your face favoritism. Upper management. Even more useless and will treat you like nothing if you don't stroke their ego if you want to get their recommendation for a promotion. Its very much a who you know kind of business and it unfortunately keeps college educated people away from moving up after spending YEARS working for the company but will promote the new brown noses with 1 year experience.

Cons

NO FULL-TIME OFFER! The recruitment process at H-E-B Digital is deeply frustrating and appears to lack integrity. Despite having relevant internship experience and receiving positive feedback during the interview process, I found that the company’s hiring strategy seems entirely reliant on prioritizing individuals recently laid off from FAANG companies. It feels as though they are not genuinely interested in developing new talent or giving equal consideration to qualified candidates who don't fit that specific profile. Advice for Management: Be transparent with applicants regarding your hiring criteria. It is demoralizing to waste time and emotional energy interviewing when the process feels like a box-checking exercise. If you are not actually hiring, do not string candidates along with positive feedback. The current approach reflects poorly on the company’s values and brand. Recommendation: If you are not a recent layoff from a major tech firm, I would suggest looking elsewhere. It appears to be their business model to prioritize those specific candidates over others, regardless of your personal qualifications or positive performance during interviews.
