Pros

Decent pay for SOME positions. Clean workplace, plenty of parking, Heated/AC, casual Friday dress code and close to some decent restaurants.

Cons

Working in the Wallburg plant his horrible. Decent pay for for my position but no one is friendly (the moral is terrible). The new Executive VP (Bruce) is the most unfriendly person I've ever worked for. He will not even speak or look at you when you speak to him. The VP/GM (Mark) is an awesome man. He will work with you and roll his sleeves up and jump in at any moment to help. They hire managers off the street instead of hiring within and all of them are clueless and treat you like scum. I work there and shake my head at the lack of knowledge managers/supervisors have. I'm currently looking for other employment opportunities daily. The also work you to the Bone. 6/7 twelve hours days.

Pros

It was a great company to work for.

Cons

There was some compliance issues that needed to be addressed. Some of the old mechanics were used to doing things the way they "had always done them" same thing with training and other managers rather than reading the manuals so it led to customer issues. It could have definitely been avoided. AAR Corp took over and just laid off all the good people who were trying to make positive changes rather than interviewing anyone. So now they are stuck with all the ones that are in that "lets keep doing it the way we have always done it mindset". If they dont sell it or break it down for parts - I will be surprised.
