Pros
The only pros of working here are the wonderful families you serve and the few other dedicated professionals (who are few and far between because qualified, ethical people tend to leave).
Cons
The owners of this agency are some of the most horrible people I have ever met. Truly. They treat their employees terribly. They are disrespectful, condescending, dishonest, unresponsive, unethical, and unprofessional. They actually yell at their employees and at each other. I have never felt so mistreated and demeaned in a work environment. The office is primarily staffed by their friends and family, who are often completely unqualified, and they show preferential treatment towards employees who share their religion. They are completely disorganized and financially irresponsible; expect your paychecks to regularly be short and/or to bounce. Don't hold your breath for health insurance either (even if they promise it). They have no concern for quality of services and care only about filling their own pockets, at the expense of the families who are trusting them. The owners regularly attempt to cut corners and reduce quality in order to make a few extra dollars. If you are someone who believes in professionalism, best practice, and ethical behavior, they will demonize you (because doing what is right for the families is not what makes them the most money). This is a place where you are actually berated and mistreated for being a solid, caring professional. Working here was a traumatic experience. Save yourself the nightmare and go to a company that actually values qualified and dedicated professionals.
