Pros

Nothing as such.Can say only that it gives money for work.

Cons

No salary growth Project profit goes to directly to Upper managers and HCL. Mostly Product Support projects. Tamil people preferred over everyone even if you have more technical knowledge combined all of them. Politics at its highest level. In our batch as fresher total 68 people joined.I can assure you that not a single person will recommend HCL . Creative ideas are not accepted. Provides the cheapest solution. Now HCL have started hiring TSS people,that shows you the quality of the employees they want. Here, if you belong to different domain (take Java as example), they won't let you take the training for Hadoop.My colleague was thrown out of the training session of hadoop because he belongs to Java domain. Really, don't join HCL, you can thank me later.

Pros

Data Center Exposure Free lunch in cafeteria at Mesa location Can have a lot of downtime Not aggressively tracking you on everything Job is not difficult

Cons

no free lunch for other locations in valley Pay could be better Only contracted to work with the data center company, HCLTech could potentially lose the contract not directly employed by data center company. No benefits if working through an agency, only paid holidays if direct HCL. Management is a bit scattered.
