Pros
- good money with no experience - opportunity to talk with googlers - interesting job - You may clock in and clock out. Actually it is the best way to survive there.
Cons
- polish labor law was a few times breached (with discriminatory practices and certain policies that went against the law) - Micromanagement - Managers have no idea what you are doing yet expect you to do more - As a contractor your worth is not even protecting by your manager in case of an escalation - high rotation (50%) - High Pressure (was texted every 30/40 minutes by a boss to do things. The reason for their behavior was that they were protected from any escalation as they messaged the intent. It led to getting around 10 messages a day to do things I was doing at the same time) - One time I was locked and could not enter - There is unpaid OT expected - The main customer that oversees the project and your HR do not care about the issues that should breach a contract such as faking the workflow analytics to match the compliance with the client's standard. - HCL handles a lot of mediation with authorities as it is quite regular that there are requests for the intervention. - There are no promotions. What is more, the supervisors are hired externally meaning the people who manage the project know the least about it. -The management tries to get as much money from the customer despite the unrealistic goals and the lack of trainning.
