Pros
The perks are very cool and all. (There's a slide!) But I like the reasoning behind the perks. It's to make the employees feel like this is a comforting place to be for the 8 hours they spend here. The work/life balance for sales is really good compared to most sales environments. The people here are awesome. I know that's a testament to the rigid hiring guidelines as well as ensuring that each new hire is a culture fit. Culture is one of those things that most companies try really hard to drill into you in order to get you in the door, but once you are there you see it was just a sales tactic to get your body behind a desk. At HCSS everyone works hard to live out the mission, vision and values that our company stands upon. Before the pandemic there were many company wide events that brings you together with other departments and people from different backgrounds. The amount of diversity in all departments is refreshing.
Cons
New processes are implemented without much preparation or learning. Misinformation and lack of consistent communication within sales can be frustrating and confusing. Sales onboarding is not structured to the point where you are not sure if you are actually learning the correct things. Focuses are changed without completing the previous learning objective. While this isn't a problem for some who have been in sales before, this can be detrimental to the organization as a whole. No Pepsi in the free drinks!!
