Casual and comfortable work environment Exposure to fairly challenging clients Primary empahsis on tax (rather than on audit as in most firms)
Cons
Extremely poor communication from management to the staff Poor implementation and follow through for policies and decisions Scheduling is a disaster Terrible office morale/spirit HCVT grew very rapidly over the last several years, and is stuck thinking like a small firm trying to fit into its regional firm shoes. While this growth gave the opportunity for career advancements, inadequacies that may have been less evident when the firm was smaller are now painfully clear.
