Pros

It was good to have a 400 page catalog to sell out of and have access to many different product lines. The kicker was having product in stock.

Cons

Territories were not defined so salesmen were all going after the same customers. Also, management would not commit to having proper inventory level. We were always running out of things. They need to grow some balls

Pros

Not having to drive into an office everyday

Cons

•New bonus structure •No transparency in reporting to compare your QTD or YTD sales so you just have to trust that the numbers that they are giving you are accurate. •too much reporting takes away from field time •micromanagement •leadership response was slow to respond •frequent shipping errors and shipping without packing slips •changed from relationship sales to geographic sales so created a glass ceiling for the more talented or hard working reps
