Pros

-Many mentorship opportunities -Lots of resources to pursue professional development (e.g. $500 worth of test prep, paid time for day of test, $5000 bonus upon attaining professional licensure [PE], tuition assistance for graduate school [2 year commitment after graduation] -ESOP with company stock consistently growing per year by double digit % (still recommend doing your own DD on the company direction before committing to buying shares every February) -5% match for 401k

Cons

-Maintaining billable hours (typical with most private civil firms) and is not difficult to do if you are proactive, show consistency of producing good work, and have a present manager

Pros

Culture, schedule flexibility, depending on management, remote work, and employee owned, okay benefits

Cons

Parking sucks. The office is in downtown so you have pay just about any where you park. Work is repetitive or stagnant sometimes.

Pros

Fantastic teamwork. The Coastal Group is very close and highly collaborative. There is a lot of support from upper management in the Coastal Group. Lots of projects lined up.

Cons

PTO and Sick Leave are tied together.
