Pros
If you want to go to work and goof off and not do anything, there's a position for you.
Cons
Poor pay. Poor recognition. The hardest workers are saddled with more work because most of the staff is inept. Rather than fire the poor performers they're allowed to stay and basically do nothing while the hard workers have to work long hours and beg for an annual raise that barely covers inflation. Management was hired from those same poor workers. Most of them have zero experience or knowledge. Management can't even figure out how to sort an Excel list. They blatantly have their favorites and make decisions based on who they like most. The worst part is they act like it's high school and they're the "in-crowd." It's all about what clique you're in and nothing more. The worst part of it all is just how hypocritical the entire company is. They talk about being there for the members but most people only care about themselves. Vendor managers and decision makers go with who took them to the nicest dinner and are motivated by their own interests even though there is a compliance policy. The company wasted literally 10s of millions of dollars on a vendor that did absolutely nothing for members except raise premiums.
