Pros
Great pay and benefits! Plus I can use my field service truck for personal use which helps minimize my bottomline (I don't need to pay for fuel and insurance and I can use the truck for my family). It gets expensive driving from my home in the Old Fort and the fact that I can use Hoerbiger's vehicle for personal use really helps even out any downsides to income.
Cons
I have been working here since September 2017 as a Field Service Mechanic. I was trained as a Red Seal Millwright from Grande Prairie College, so I have lots of experience and the proper credentials to do my job. I should say that I also worked for Bidell. Problem with Hoerbiger is the management. I absolutely hate being micro managed and don't need it but for some reason the local Fort St. John area thinks they need to look over my shoulder. I am thinking of moving as it really gets on my nerve. So, unfortunately Hoerbiger will lose a good mechanic which I don't mind saying about myself because I take pride in my work and consider myself an asset to a company.
