Pros

Good pay and raises. Decent insurance & pension

Cons

This was the absolute worst job I've ever had. Management doesn't respect their employees. A lot of rumor spreading and backbiting. No work/life balance. Not uncommon for them to come up to you half hour before your shift ends and tell you that you are staying over 2 hours. I like OT, but i also like to have enough time to make arrangements for my small child. Very outdated machines that are always breaking down. If you want numbers and production, then you need machines that work. Brag in Sacramento about having "just enough people to do the job". Translation: we will give you barely enough people to do the job and expect you to do the job of 4 people.

Pros

Working at HP Hood for a short of amount of time was a blessing in disguise. The interview was fairly simple, as it went from a phone call screening to then an interview with the head IT admin. Once there, they connect you with every team in the building to make sure that you're situated properly. The people in the office are great, as they'll go out of their way to converse with you and are inclusive on top. The culture and work are very manageable and not overbearing.

Cons

The only con I can say is that you have to be in office 5x a week.
