Pros

A vast majority of the team are driven to achieve results and work collaboratively on a day to day basis. Typically strong market positions in the various businesses. Able to generate free cash flow.

Cons

Senior management team will refer to the culture created by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, but they are long past embracing what was started in the Palo Alto garage. Sure, times change, but the principles of Bill and Dave towards managing a culture remain basic. Today, there is a have, have not hierarchy. How you view the company for better or for worse will depend on where you fit in that hierarchy.

Hi there! Thank you for your review and for your feedback! We appreciate your pointing out that we have a lot of talented employees and that we have a strong position on the market. I noted your advice to management and the cons. 3D Printing is one of our key priorities in the next years, and we will see more focus in this space. ~ Madalina Antohe, Employer brand & digital media leader

Pros

Good working culture. It falls a little prey to acting like we're a family and not a business, but at least it doesn't pretend "we work hard, we play hard".

Cons

ELT and upper management have zero vision for the company besides desperately trying to pull up stock prices. Company continues to make deep long-term sacrifices for short term gains, that barely rise above the performance of our competitors. Benefits weaken each year. Example: CVS Caremark now handles RxD insurance, and CVS Caremark is incompetent and exploitative.
