Decent benefits, holidays off, schedule flexibility

Cons

Major lack of management and adequate managerial skills across all management levels. Little to no communication from management or between departments. IT is substandard and problems often are left unaddressed. Technology is very outdated including platforms (Citrix) and the phone systems. There is a huge lack of resources for the servicing team (account managers) and little to no assistants to do any processing work. Account managers are left with massive books and are required to do the majority of processing work. If you work harder- you get more work on your plate and no reward. Producers/sales staff are allowed free rein and there’s little to no oversight for them. They are apt to take advantage of the hard working servicing team while the servicing team is held to very high standards. Bonuses are laughably small and salaries are much lower than competitors. Raises are 2% if you are lucky. Zero appreciation is shown to the staff and any problems whether big or small are left unaddressed. I worked for the company for over 3 years and the working environment continued to decline along with management. Turnover is also incredibly high with this organization which speaks volumes. Good talent walks out the door quickly.

I do not recommend working in corporate for HUB, especially in TechOps. Based on my experience, the culture in that area was extremely unhealthy. I saw repeated issues with senior leadership communication, decision-making, accountability, and how employees were treated and concerns handled. Additionally, in my view, HR did not provide meaningful support when employee concerns were raised, completely downplaying the concerns at times. Employees often had to work around confusing or poor leadership decisions instead of being supported by clear direction. I also witnessed senior leadership not tolerating feedback from their employees in a healthy manor. The result was a toxic work environment where many very strong employees have left over the past year.
