Pros

Challenging work. Opportunities to grow. Fun, tons of it. Humans that are a joy to interact with

Cons

Typical fast pace of a quickly growing company. I love doing art, but this is not always possible. =) One of the values of the company is #movefast and I'm in 80% of the time, but not 100%.

Thanks for sharing your experience at HUMAN. It made for a very encouraging read as this is exactly the kind of environment we’re working hard to build and sustain through the growing pains of maturation as a business. Our people are truly amazing and we need to ensure that we don’t let drag (especially cultural debt or technical debt) get in the way of fulfilling work and creative problem-solving. Maybe 80/20 isn’t a bad ratio - we need to be a scalable, reliable, and cutting-edge solution for our clients and partners - so that “20%” is a small price to pay! Thanks again, -- Michael McNally, CTO.

Pros

- Benefits and stipends - Pay - (Some) people :)

Cons

There are too many to name. If you're thinking of joining HUMAN Security, don't. There is no strategy, no direction, Product functions like a mess and there's too much coddling. The company feel overly reactive, priorities shift quickly and teams are expected to adjust in real time. Cross functional alignment is not always strong, which can create confusion around ownership, timelines, and decision making. Depending on the team, communication from leadership may not always provide enough clarity on long term strategy, leaving employees to navigate ambiguity more than they should. At times, high performers can end up carrying a disproportionate amount of the operational load, especially in roles that sit between teams and functions.
