Pros

I truly enjoyed the creative aspect of my work and the chance to collaborate with talented people across different projects. The brand had potential, and some team members were genuinely passionate and supportive.

Cons

I decided to leave after realizing there was a consistent lack of communication and empathy from leadership. Management often trusted individuals who did not have the qualifications or skills they claimed to possess, which created confusion and tension within the team. Employee contributions were frequently undervalued, and hard work wasn’t always recognized. There was also little effort to build a healthy or respectful work culture.

Pros

Close-knit group of coworkers, casual/relaxed management style, busy location

Cons

not much flexibility for schedules (have to work late nights), color line is limited and low quality, no support from upper management and salon needed a lot of updates that I think have been taken care of now, but were left in unacceptable condition for a long time. Also, not enough structure to who takes walk-ins, which led to laziness, drama, and bad customer service.
