Pros

walk in clients, free education (not the best, IMO), good if you are a new stylist...it builds confidence because you see so many people.

Cons

Company makes you take on responsibility with no compensation (opening and closing the store), all co-workers do not pitch in to clean towels, answer phones, and greet customers. People who do the least side work (clean towels, answer phones, greet customers) make more money, then those who are pitching in and doing work. This happens because they are taking clients, while the other stylists are cleaning. They have a 401k, but the company just recently just stopped contributing...you can still contribute, but they no longer put a % in anymore.

It's wonderful to hear that you love our team atmosphere and feel supported in your career development. We know that a busy salon brings its fair share of fast-paced stress, and we appreciate your ability to handle the rush so beautifully. Thank you for everything you do for our clients in Jacksonville! Gustavo Serbia, Chief Human Resources Officer

Pros

Close-knit group of coworkers, casual/relaxed management style, busy location

Cons

not much flexibility for schedules (have to work late nights), color line is limited and low quality, no support from upper management and salon needed a lot of updates that I think have been taken care of now, but were left in unacceptable condition for a long time. Also, not enough structure to who takes walk-ins, which led to laziness, drama, and bad customer service.
