Pros
Amazing co-workers; great employee discount; affordable health insurance; being surrounded by people who also love books, movies, and music; diverse customers and job duties make every day interesting
Cons
While individual stores have a family-owned feel, it's still a corporation, and higher-ups do what they can to save money even if it comes at the expense of booksellers. Also, it's retail, so pandering to nasty customers is a regular requirement, and the pay isn't great
