Can be queer, use preferred names and pronouns. Profit sharing and bonuses. Employee discount cannot be beat. Working with people who have a passion for books and media.
Cons
Once you are an SM everything lands on you; blame from below and blame from above. The pay for SM is way too low. Other positions within the company pay better. They have protected bad employees while treating good ones poorly.
