Pros

Not expected to work more than 40 hours a week. If you are a day laborer, this might be a descent place to work. Serves as a good stepping stone for junior engineers and application specialists to get into high paying roles in automation at other companies, especially for application programmers.

Cons

Toxic work culture. ALL employees forced to work in person during COVID, regardless of whether they could do their work effectively outside of the office. Health concerns raised by employees were always down-played. Employee moral is atrocious. No value placed on expert opinion from scientists, marketing, field applications, product, or even the customer for that matter. Instead, R&D runs the show without any insight from customers. Even many of the R&D engineers don't like this arrangement. No ownership of work. Blame passed around. No one is empowered to make effective decisions. Data is siloed, hidden, or non-existent. No company vision. Hugely understaffed for most roles.
