Pros
Private company. Good job security. Engineering doesn't usually work more than 40 hours per week. Some departments seem much better, like quality. Avoid manufacturing or R&D.
Cons
There are toxic, top-down companies that make you work 3 people's job and then there is Hamilton. Much much worse. Every person is doing more than 3 people's job. Also, so much physical work that you are expected to do and break your back. Punishment from managers is designed to improve the team, which of course makes everything worse. Avoid HR at all times. Try your best to fly below the radar and don't expect promotion or raise. Just put in 2 years and get a better job.
