Cons
Compensation is extremely embarrassing for a profitable firm that relies on it's Analysts/Associates to do all the work. A majority of the staff leave after 2-4 years once they receive offers elsewhere for 2x/2.5x the income. This is widely known throughout the area and explains why their applicant pool is limited. Upper management acknowledges this yet doesn't care as keeping expenses low keeps the stock price stable/high which they cash out on. There is an extreme wealth divide between employees pre-IPO vs post-IPO.
