Pros
The training you receive is by far the best in the business in terms of what they prepare you for in the workplace. There is a major emphasis on the quality of service and your ability to show drive and initiative as you will typically switch between two or more roles depending on whats needed and your particular level of ability/skill. As an employee your treatment is exceptional and if you've been previously employed by other supermarket chains I guarantee in comparison you will notice a major positive difference in every aspect of working here.
Cons
I cannot stress this enough. This is not Walmart. This company has high standards in terms of customer service skills, drive, consistency and initiative. They will in turn go the extra mile to give you whatever training you need to be able to work to the best of your ability. Bottom line: If you don't have a good work ethic, your chances of getting and staying hired suffer far greater than at most other chains.
