Pros
If you have no self-respect or skills, want to kiss the DO's butt to succeed, and accept the minimum possible payment for your hard work, this is the job for you. Be sure to hold no one accountable for unacceptable behavior; never advocate for yourself and just say yes to being under paid and undervalued, and you'll go far
Cons
No work-life balance, only offer advancements to 'yes men', only treat men, especially white cis men, with anything resembling respect, and underpay people for their work. HR can literally laugh in your face if you ask for better compensation. If you're female presenting, you need to flirt with the DO or you will be blacklisted. I was denied a professional referral based on someone that I previously dated who never worked for the company. Management will NEVER help you; they are only there to help themselves. This is a dumpster fire of a company that intentionally overpriced their products to keep lower-income people out of their stores. The culture is a farce; the only people who are encouraged to advance are people that are male-presenting, cis, white men.
