Pros

Family owned, flexible schedule (for some), decent pay. Most people who work there are honest & likable. Nice soft perks - espresso machine, free food, lots of lunches & pretty nice Christmas party.

Cons

Politics, favoritism, heavy work-load, health insurance not great. Lots of passive-aggressive Leadership. Major “Bro Culture”. Dysfunctional work environment. Communication on leadership teams could be better. Little accountability at higher levels.

Pros

A lot of free samples sent to me. The sales meetings were paid for by the company. I had great customers. I could start my day at my home office and hit the road by 9am. Most days I was back home by 4:30 pm.

Cons

Micromanaging from the local Director of Sales. The company likes to change the software on a whim and expect you to learn it with little training. Was told I had to learn 5 different apps that gave the same information and was difficult to manage. When I converted to commission included pay, I was told I didn't have a choice and lost approx. $1000 a month, even though I stepped up my selling. Then they took the $0.70/mile reimbursement away and put us on Motus, where I lost another $1200/month.
