Pros

Well respected brand throughout the world. Leader in motorcycle industry. Nice office working environment conditions. A great, fun product to be involved with, great sense of pride. Four weeks vacation after five years. Overall fair compensation.

Cons

- Growing bureaucracy, continues to destroy empowerment, product development slowed. Way to much process. You will need documentation to leave your desk one day! - Career growth minimal regardless of your accomplishments. - Previous company values once posted throughout the company 10 years ago... gone, i.e. tell the truth, keep your promises - Losing the brand recognition fast to competitors - An industry that doesn't hire motorcycle enthusiasts, go figure! - Weak marketing and sales management based off leadership that doesn't understand the market, customers or dealers, dealer networks. - Trust does not exist, watch your back type of environment. - Overall moral at an all time low due to demotions throughout the corporation. - If your old, they don't like you due to growth in your salary and benefits. - Employee yearly evaluations of the company is weak and biased due to increase work loads evolving from issues. - Multiple silos type management and continues to evolve in that direction through reorgs. Wrong direction. Difficult to collaborate type environment. - Sr. Leadership continues to reorganize every one to two years due to continuing failures driving lack of sales. Board of Directors is weak for not recognizing it and changing it. - Company was once one of the top 100 companies to work for but continues to decline over the past 5 years. - Company is driving profit margin through cuts as they cannot do it through sales or efficiencies.

I never had to guess where I stood, as next steps were always laid out clearly. During the interview experience the entire Harley team panel was professional, welcoming, and were genuinely interested in my background, making the interview feel like a collaborative conversation. The transparency throughout the process gave me complete confidence when I ultimately accepted the job offer.

Cons

I have no cons to call out based on my experience in the interview process.
