Pros

Meet some interesting characters. Biker groups that contribute to the community, such a Bikers Against Child Abuse.

Cons

A lot of people, unfortunately, believe that HD, as a company, has integrity. They don't. They don't want to know....it would shatter their illusion. Apparently, I'm not allowed to say what this company does and gets away with....and what they allow from so-called management/bullies. Good ol' boys club. Some of the women are just as bad/brainwashed/corrupt. Things that should be transparent, aren't. Heaven forbid you should ask. You'll be looking for a job the next day. Don't even bother calling corportate. They won't return a call or an email. Apparently, they don't care. If they DO get rid of someone corrupt, they simply re-locate them to another store. Most of the people who work there don't get paid enough to even afford one of the bikes. Most of them are either retired with a pension and/or rely on their spouse's income/benefits, and already own a bike, and just work at HD to get a discount on parts and HD merchandise. HD is almost their whole identity and they don't know what to do without it. This type will stand up for HD no matter what. They keep chugging the kool-aid and being brainwashed. Sales in the winter are scarce and most of the dealerships don't even pay you a base. A few pay $300 per week (approx 50 hrs per week) or commission, whichever is greater. That's $300 per per week to basically be a telemarketer and dust off bikes. So, unless you have a pension or a sugar mama/daddy, it's not pleasant. The managers get REALLY grumpy in the winter because of low sales and blame it on the sales people. Gee, it couldn't be the freezing weather, could it??? As for me.....I wanted to believe that it was just one bad dealership, but....that's not the case. I spit out the kool-aid. I deserve better.

Pros

My hiring journey began with a seamless application process, followed immediately by an incredibly organized scheduling phase. The Harley team kept me informed every step of the way. I never had to guess where I stood, as next steps were always laid out clearly. During the interview experience the entire Harley team panel was professional, welcoming, and were genuinely interested in my background, making the interview feel like a collaborative conversation. The transparency throughout the process gave me complete confidence when I ultimately accepted the job offer.

Cons

I have no cons to call out based on my experience in the interview process.
