Pros
Great co-workers, amazing history, cool products. Extremely flexible with remote work and option to come into the office if you want. I actually love my job.
Cons
Salary and benefits are declining rapidly. Many years with no salary increases at all (across the board, not performance based). More and more requests for employees to volunteer on their own time to support sales events at the museum. Downsizing staff without proper thought to how those roles will be filled. Downsizing longer term employees with more than 20 years at the company. Seems like they want to get rid of employees that were part of the pension plan (newer hires do not have a pension plan). I love working here but due to the company not keeping up at all with the smallest of cost of living increases, I feel forced to look elsewhere for my own financial well being.
