Pros
Decent pay and benefits. Decent manager and friendly, helpful coworkers for the most part.
Cons
Some people don't like that we have to earn points to keep the same insurance rate the following year. I also don't like that when patient census is low, someone will get volunteered to go home, and that day's pay will come out of PTO. There is no chill, the IMU/Med-surg floor is always busy. Others have also told me when it is hard to be promoted from RN II to RN III so growth is stunted.
