Cons
Management is poor, does not listen, and does not care about patient safety. The other staff members do not make sterile preparations actually sterile. Management is aware of the poor aseptic techniques of their staff and simply does not correct it unless state board or Medicaid is visiting for inspections. They do not believe in raises or bonuses and will come up with any reason to not give their employee's any type of incentives. But i cant blame them fully because their staff in the pharmacy is horrible. They do not truly care about their jobs or the patients they are there to service! Even the pharmacist would rather have personal conversations and scroll on their computers shopping than to actually stay in workflow. The pharmacist do not take CODE BLUES SERIOUSLY AND TAKE THEIR TIME GETTING THERE!!! CAUSING MANY PATIENTS TO CODE OUT!!! ITS HORRIBLE! The lack of care on the pharmacists end causes a tremendous workload on the techs which is why they have a VERY HIGH turnover rate!! Not to mention some of the male pharmacist sleeping with the technicians! This is a very unprofessional environment. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away. You can let management know but SHE DOES NOT CARE and will not listen to you or implement any ideas from her current staff or incoming staff members. Not to mention she has her favorites! My first week 4 patients died and i couldn't understand why until I actually got in there to see what transpired behind the scenes. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN HONESTLY!!!!!
