Pros
Employees and relationships that you build along the way while working together to try to improve the lives of those that are the most marginalized in Houston, Texas and the surrounding areas.
Cons
Probably one of the most toxic places in all of Houston to work for. From top down. Senior leadership has berated employees, and were very narcissistic in the sense that only their time was valuable and not the employees' . There was an instance where the VP of one of the hospitals called my former department and told the my former boss that he wanted to send him back (this was in the middle of a meeting - and was unprovoked for absolutely no reason). The same VP would kick my door, turn off my lights and steal my laptop from my desk. He hired his cousin as an administrator (which in my book is nepotism). I am pretty sure your tax dollars are being wasted constantly by their inability to work in an effective manner.
