Pros
It was easy to get shifts covered and pick up shifts in different departments if needed. Profit sharing checks were very nice, and they all depended on how well the store preformed and how many hours you worked. We would get them twice a year. Harris Teeter would every now and then provide associates with extra fuel points or credit to use in their stores. They have decent opportunities for growth.
Cons
Pay was very low and in the summertime they cut back hours to where many part timers were working only one shift. If you did not have a completely open schedule (including Sundays even for religious reasons it was very hard for people to become full time)
