Pros

Half day Friday's, some of the benefits but that's it.

Cons

Too much incompetence within the organisation, it's an old boys club with Senior Execs having been there most of their life. Highly political environment, all about doing things the way certain people want, all innovation is killed off before any idea can be incubated. Departments constantly conflicting with each other and not totally joined up to achieve the common goals. All they care about it the bottom line and pleasing shareholders, the comical thing is how they pretend to be this squeaky clean company but have a very dark side to them. Having been in a senior position for 20 years, I saw more than my fair share of rogue deals and questionable ethics being conducted at various levels. Too many self serving, greedy individuals in the company that are more focussed on maintaining their high flyers gold club status than doing the job they are meant to be doing. Career opportunities are totally absent, I had been in the same position for over 10 years. No work life balance, always expected to work when on vacation, sick or even a death in the family, it's always business first, people second! There is a general overload of work across the organisation as there simply isn't enough people employed to do all the jobs. There are pockets of people across the organisation that do all the work, whilst others sit idle. This company is all about presenteeism over everything else, including being competent at your job.

Pros

- Most of the people (that remain) are great albeit burnt out beyond belief. - The brands (that remain) represent the best of childhood and play around the world. - The Day of Joy, where all of Hasbro takes the day to volunteer in the community, is a genuinely beautiful thing for such a large company to orchestrate.

Cons

- Senior leadership has demolished this company and any shred of employee motivation along with it. - Messages from the top are extremely tone deaf and lack clarity and transparency. - Anyone that hasn’t been laid off (yet) has the workload of about 4 people on their plate. - It’s hard to feel motivated to perform at your best and care about the outcomes when you’re constantly worried if you’ll have a job the next day.
