Pros
I've worked for both fortune 500 companies and start ups and this seems to be a great fit. Hawkins is a mid sized company so I am involved in more aspects of my business group than I would be at a large company and still have more support than at small companies. From a sales perspective, my territory had good established business with the opportunity for growth both with current and new customers. This made my ramp-up period fairly easy. I have also found the compensation and most benefits to be good. From a culture perspective, I have found my coworkers (both in my group and in other groups) to be welcoming with good senses of humor which has made life in the office more fun. People tend to be hard workers but maintain a good work-life balance even in upper management.
Cons
Like any company, things are not perfect but all-in-all, my experience here has been good so far. Career opportunities are supported but being a mid-sized company, there are only so many upper level jobs. Benefits are good but not to the same level as large companies.
