Management, management, management. Managers will use you for their own career advancement. Once used up, they will use the power of the PIP to force you out the door. Don’t be honest with a single manager at that company. Your honesty is their weapon against you. Just keep your resume up to date. Smile and nod at them from time to time but don’t give them any ammo to use against you.
