Pros

-All of the employees genuinely embrace the Headspace's mission of making the world a happier and healthier place. I think it speaks highly of management and the hiring staff that culture plays such a large role in the hiring process. It makes all the difference to enjoy all the people you work with. -Competitive salary -Management very transparent with the good/bad/otherwise health of the company at any given time. -The People Operations Team keeps everyone healthy and happy with special events (gym membership, yoga classes in office, movie nights, etc.) -The organization is ambitious enough to keep employees engaged, but without putting undue stress on them. Specifically, large projects with a tight deadline do happen occasionally, but the organization as a whole understands the concept of shifting priorities (If something becomes top priority, something else will be delayed). While it's a seemingly simple concept, I find many companies and management teams fail to actually practice it, and it is the largest source of stress for many employees at other organizations. -I like coming to work on Monday mornings, it's amazing. That's literally never happened to me in previous jobs.

Cons

-While the pros may seem overly effusive, no company is perfect. There's been the occasional bad/ineffective VP that has frustrated those in their circle, but that seems to be isolated to only a few instances and those people seem to quickly leave and while I can't speak for all circles, I think we're in a great place with that at the moment. -Would like a 401K match -I don't consider it a con, but the organization is constantly evolving as we grow. It's possible that your role would evolve over time. If you embrace that sort of challenge, most of the time it is a great opportunity.

Pros

-they offer great resources for members to utilize -continued education to sharpen your coaching skills

Cons

-there have been so many changes and expectations that are frustrating to navigate -they expect way too much for so little pay and no benefits -this role is so taxing on your own mental health... many of the members that you see aren't a good fit for coaching, so you're also filtering a lot of members for therapy and navigate really heavy mental health conversations that aren't within the scope of coaching -feedback isn't delivered live, it's all put in a spreadsheet that's clearly input by automation
