Pros
I am a HealthPartners Corporate Office employee. I like the: great benefits/PTO, salary (with annual increases), no fear in layoffs (I have only seen two people let go in 4 years for work performance), awesome cafeteria, very diverse marketing projects, busy (never watching the clock), great security staff/safe building you need to swipe to get in, free parking, good people and you are part of a group working towards a greater good in the community. Depending on your job/supervisor, you can work from home sometimes. Flexible hours if you have kids is negotiable – many of the moms I work with leave early and some are event on contract (hourly pay) so they can have Fridays off. They do a good job working with your lifestyle.
Cons
It's Corporate America, so there is that. Many decisions get political. Lots of people work there, so that means more people/personalities to figure out how to work with. A few departments can wear jeans, but not all. Very small budgets on most projects. Lots of "forced fun" things to create community with the team. Lots of meetings. Upper management egos.
