Pros

I still work with many of the same people from 20 years ago. That speaks volumes to the culture of an organization that has enjoyed unprecedented growth within our rapidly changing healthcare environment.

Cons

Healthcare is a very challenging area to perform well in given the current landscape, but HOPCo excels at creating strategies to deliver value for patients, providers, healthcare systems and payors by aligning goals and incentives.

Pros

Positive workplace culture that fosters collaboration, respect and teamwork. Growth and development opportunities that support both professional and personal advancement. Strong leadership that provides guidance, transparency, and support. Healthy work-life balance allows employees to effectively manage professional and personal life. Regular verbal recognition and appreciation for work and accomplishments.

Cons

Benefits could be more competitive, particularly regarding employee cost-sharing. Health insurance coverage for spouses and families is prohibitively expensive, making it difficult for employees to utilize these options. Some organizational processes would benefit from greater standaization and streamlining to improve efficiency and consistency across teams. There can be instances where decisions or exceptions appear to be influenced by accommodating specific leaders rather than applying policies and procedures consistently across the organization.
