      You get to work with smart people on the editorial side.

      Cons

      Management doesn't really understand content creation and doesn't appreciate the process. Also doesn't want to pay for the work -- it's a very "let them eat cake" sort of attitude.

      Hearst is a well-oiled machine with processes in place making work structured.
