Pros

Union and non union shops. As a union driver we get great healthcare, daily overtime, and seniority lists that can work in your favor. You're your own boss when on the job

Cons

Poor management both local and corporate. Corporate does not want to give out higher wages. Dispatchers are horrid. Sales team is not generating new work which equates to less available work. As normal in the industry- you don't know your next days start time until 5pm the night before, you don't have an end time. Very difficult to plan a social/ family life. Company treats you as if your existence is to work for them.

Pros

- North America wide footprint - young and dynamic team - good vision how cement production could look like in the future

Cons

- tenure/seniority is worth more then anything else - lack of strategy - managers care more about their own job security, then supporting their team when addressed with concerns - management pretends to do employee surveys and listening exercises, but their are just smoke screens, no follow up, nothing changes
