Pros
Benefits other than direct compensation are decent - Vision plan is great; medical and dental are better than average; vacation is average to above average. In general, many hardworking people in the company...many employees with 25+ years (however, often a product of the legacy companies). My work-life balance wasn't bad. There are promotion opportunities. Overall, it is a typical experience working for a large company.
Cons
Excessive focus on cost-cutting. Pay is below average. Participation in annual incentive plan (i.e. bonus) is somewhat arbitrary. Experience/perceptions of the company vary widely with location - company is not aligned. Formal training other than HR-focused is limited for front-line employees and mostly on-the -job.
